Abstract
Hemangioblastomas are tumors of embryonic vascular elements and consist of many capillaries and a variable amount of cellular tissue. Hemangioblastomas in the cerebellar hemispheres are often associated with angiomatosis of the retina, cysts of panand kidney and there is a tendency to a familial occurrence. The tumors in the cerebellum may be solid, but more commonly they consist of a large cyst filled with yellow fluid which may be dark as result of hemorrhage, and a small mural nodule of tumor tissue.
This is a case report of typical Lindau¢¥s disease which developed in thirty two years old Korean woman. Solid hemangioblastoma in the left cerebellar hemisphere was surgically removed and policystic pancreas and kidney were confirmed by autopsy.
